La Biblioteca "Norberto Rodriguez Bustamante" de la Facultad de Ciencias Sociales de la UBA fue quien lo convocó, integrándose al mismo las siguientes bibliotecas del área de ciencias sociales pertenecientes a estas instituciones: Centro Cultural de la Cooperación, Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales, Instituto de Investigaciones Gino Germani - UBA, Universidad Nacional de General Sarmiento, Universidad Nacional de Lanús, y Universidad Nacional de Quilmes. El Vocabulario es un desarrollo basado en el "Macrotesauro sobre desarrollo económico y social" de la OCDE.
