Nota de alcance:
Enfoque popularizado por Stephen Krashen y Tracy Terrell (1983) que parte de la hipótesis del monitor. Propone que a mayor exposición a un caudal lingüístico, mayor será el conocimiento que adquirirá el aprendiente, semejante a la manera en la que un niño adquiere su L1.
